Certainly the best I've seen Shakes play. Cureton should have had more than one, although did very well again. Big Trev came on won a few corners and held the ball up, exactly what he'd have been asked to do. While not a classic, I'll settle for three points

Anybody have any news on Albert. Apparently he crashed his car on the way to the CG. Is he ok?

Big Trev came on won a few corners and held the ball up, exactly what he'd have been asked to do. While not a classic, I'll settle for three points I thought it was a good performance. The first 10 minutes were a bit nervy but then we took control of the game and I lost count of the amount of good balls into the box. Cureton played very well and fully deserved his goal and was unlucky not to score an identical one at the other end. Shakes was brilliant first half. Everything seemed to go down the right flank and he rarely wasted oppertunities. Second half he was much quieter. Overall a very encouraging display and I think that 3-1 would have told the story much more with the chances both teams wasted and with the excellent keeping

What was everyones opinion of benji then!? Not very mobile. Twatted the keeper a treat. Will give him time but Curo and Peacock won't be shitting it on this performance (neither will Holgate!) Ifil. Can't pass but was my MOTM. 'That' tackle, I'd like to think it was perfectly timed (anything else would have been a pen). Curo - Should have had a hatrick. Will settle for a wonder goal. Looks dangerous. I said he wasn't worth keeping  Peacock - Needs a couple more games before he is at his best IMHO, but looks capable

Peacock gave 100% and was constantly battling.
I think he could prove to be a valuable signing come May, I really do.

Oh, and what about Ifils skill and then beautiful chip forward to Cureton/Peacock (can't remember which)??
For that 10 seconds Ifil was a world class player.

Awesome match!! We could have had so many more goals, but i really dont care as the win was all we wanted/needed. Cureton and Peacock worked off one another brilliantly and Shakes was awesome. Why did Migs go off? Anyone know? I thought he was having a good game myself. Me and my mates had to catch the bus after the match, so we had to leg it from the CG at 9.35 (when the game finished) to the bus station and just made it in time for the bus which left at 9.45 twas nackered....

I wish to god we didn't have to endure the backs-to-the-wall football for the last 10 mins..
