he is the sort of person who would get himself clean but then just disapear and his music would suffer.but then i suppose if he got himself clean that would have to be his biggest acheivment in life anything else that comes after is a bonus

Discussed this with Sonic and Bennett last night, I think the outcome was agree to disagree.
My take on it is the bloke's got two sides: music/media.
Musically, great singer and songwriter. Very talented bloke, but risking it all by not dealing with his problems.
Media, prick. If you're going to do drugs, don't wander around London smacked off you're face as it could get you arrested.
Oh......
I blame Ralphy, Kate Moss, Judy Finnigan and Rod Hull (but not Emu).

I've known plenty of them down the years, and anyone with the slightest bit of sense has got off it very early on. When did he start though? If he was young I'll give him a little slack. Not having to dip his nan's purse is a bonus too, if I'm going to be honest about it. |

I agree with that. If it had turned up when I was 14/15 I would have tried it. Fortunately it only really turned up when I was 16/17 and had my head screwed on a little better.
Having been around it has made me lose my sympathy I guess.
