doubt we'd have been able to get him, ipswich would surely rather he went to a team at the top of the table rather than at the bottom. i doubt bowditch would have chosen us over wycombe either.

He'll want to prove himself and get some first team football, and most players would choose a team at the top of the table rather than the bottom as he has more chance of scoring goals and maybe impressing his own boss and other teams.
