WHY IS IT ALWAYS"UNDISCLOSED"-WE ARE SOOOO FUCKING DODGY!THE CLUB TREATS US LIKE FUCKING MORONS (and only some of us actually are) Agreed 100%. What is that all about? most likely reason its 'undisclosed' is because swansea don't want the public to know how much they've spent on a dodgey striker who will sit on the bench for most of the season. or Swindle dont want the fans to know they've chronically undersold our best(yep thats right) player AGAIN

I'm suprised at how angry people are. Be fair to the bloke, he's not done the dirty on us, stringing out the negotiations until he was out of contract in the summer to maximise any signing on fee. He seems to have been honest with MD and allowed the club to make a few quid on him.
Bearing in mind that over the couple of seasons he's been with us he's pretty much just got on with his job, without causing any problems, I'd say good luck to him.
Think about this:
He didn't throw a sulk when he first came here and Parkin and Mooney were first choice, but did a good job as sub and scored some important goals.
When SSP was going and he might have though he was in with a chance of being the main man he didn't spit the dummy when we signed another two strikers in Cureton and Thorpe, to join Roberts who we'd already recruited and young Caton who was pushing up from the kids - he just got on with it, went out on loan when he had the chance, then came back, won back his place and is now top scorer.
Also I seem to remember that back in the summer he had the chance to go off with the NZ squad and he chose to stay here to concentrate on his club football.
OK he's chosen to leave, but he's not the first, and he won't be the last. It's not really enough to make him some sort of hate figure is it? Totally agree. Without him we'd have been as good as down already IMO. Good luck to him, and he is also due credit for getting superfit in the close season and giving us good value for money unlike some non-tryers/pissheads/unfit players, which seems to have beenlargely turned round now.

I think we are lucky to have gaimed £300,00 for him.
I agee he is a cunt as well though, he has effectively held the club to ransom.

I wouldn't say held the club to ransom as he has only really tried to better his contract which is what most would do in his situation, especially being in a club in a relegation dog fight.
He didn't get what he wanted so he left - club gain an undisclosed figure (with enough strikers in the meantime to fall back on) and Fallons needs are met elsewhere.

I havent got a problem with Fallon.Hes done nothing wrong.
My problem is with the board they have let him go,they have sold our top scorer at the time when we needed him most.He was under contract till the end of the season and would have stayed and worked his hardest. If not for us then at least for his own future elsewhere.Yes he could go for nothing at the end of the season so what if that helped us stay up?
Sold for 30 pieces of Silver,10 of which apperently have to go to Barnsley. Its a joke and there is no excuse.

In many ways its a win / win situation. Much better than him leaving for fuck all at the end of the season OK, we've lost our top scorer but he is replaceable.

I think its good business (for once). We need that dosh. I was pissed off when he was asking the club for a 'great deal', when he knew we couldnt give him one. But he's taken the deal in the end so fair play to him. He was getting a bit 'billy big time', but I wouldnt boo him.
The board got the replacement in first. Good business.

Indeed. In many ways its a win / win situation. Much better than him leaving for fuck all at the end of the season

Yes he could go for nothing at the end of the season so what if that helped us stay up?
If staying up was guarenteed by keeping him then I'd happily let him walk for free at the end of the season. In fairness to the board they have to balance that against "what if we go down anyway". Time will tell.

Nothings guaranteed but im pretty sure we stood more of a chance with our top scorer than without!!
Stop making excuses if you have to gamble then you gamble on staying up with rather than going down without surely?
