I hope you career goes no where you backstabbing cunt, you are no Sam Parkin.

Hope you're playing no-league in 2 years.

Fuck Off!

I agree with that, yet another undisclosed fee which means something like £100,000.

Exactly!, why would they pay £300,000 when he can go there for nothing at the end of the season.

who's to say Peacock will score goals?

Its all ifs and buts with Peacock and Cureton where as it was fact with Fallon he scored goals.

I disagree - Swansea are desperate to get promoted this season and will probably see his goals as a welcome boost. £300k to them is probably a good price for what they see will help their promotion push.

We weren't desperate to offload Fallon either, even though his contract will be up.

Cureton has scored regularly for 10years, Fallon has scored for half a season, i know Cureton has struggled but now hopefully he'll kick on and strike up a partnership with Peacock

These Dog's lyrics seem tailor-made for Fallon:

What a wanker
What a wanker
Going away from here
I'm going away from here

Who is to say Rory would have continued to score goals?

£250,000 profit in three years, for a player that has only scored goals regularly for half a season. I think most would take that...I certainly would.

Well this news has shocked me a bit,i'd assumed he'd leave us for nothing at the end of the season.Pleased we'll get some money for the bloke, but i can't imagine its 300 grand.
I'm sure he'll play a huge part in Swansea promotion push :-))( ,seeing as all he's got in front of him is Leon Shite and Trundle[if he stays]

Get a grip VD, its not the end of the world. He's had a good season but we can still stay up. If it is £300k then its a fair price as far as I'm concerned. Rory has never been prolific.

Peacock has a proven track record of scoring goals, and hopefully Iffy will be given at least the wages to get another striker in either on loan or permanntly.

Whilst I didnt particually want him to be sold before the contract debacle, it is clear now that the club had little chocie but to accept decent money for a player who would have left for nowt in the summer. In Peacock we have a like for like replacement
