I enjoyed the rare sight of blackburn getting a bit of a kicking the other day by Bolton, nobody wants to see anyone hurt, but Savage having his feathers ruffled is all good.
The tackle on Nelsen was a beaut, but they do say what goes around comes around.

Man Utd have put an appeal in against the red card....and for what reason can they justify this? How was the tackle not high, dangerous or late for christ sake.

Okay he made no cantact with the player, but what was he trying to do? Win the ball or pop it?!
There is no need to challenge like that, and it was dangerous.
