A quote from Mr Mooney in todays Western Daily Press.Anybody know what he's banging on about?

Mooney admits Oxford's best hopes of success this season would be to get into the play-offs, the end-of-season finale that he enjoyed with Swindon Town last year before leaving to join Oxford.

"I spoke to Andy King the other day and things are not going so well for them this season, but it is very difficult for him," said Mooney.

"He is a great bloke and a great character and I feel for him, because he is working really hard at Swindon and it is very difficult for him to continue what he is doing there, because of the way they run the club.

"It was hard to leave as I like Andy and the way it all happened was sour. Then coming here didn't help things, but at some stage the people who go and watch Swindon will find out what happened.

"When Andy leaves and goes on to get a better job then the truth might come out."

I think he's going on about why he wasn't offered the contract he was promised, which we all know already.

Thanks for the mature answer Sonic.

I just thought Mooney might be referring to something else. Some big secret. Never mind i'll just get back to my mundane desk job now.

What sad little prat still angry we didn't give him more money. And as for King going on and getting a "better" job any respect i did have for him has now gone what a prat. He should of retiredo n a high but now he's just going to go down and down the leauges before he ends up with TNS.

Absolutely NOT a rumour - Andy tackled him hard and he objected.  Andy said 'not allowed to tackle Billy Bigtime?' Burst his lip.

With all due respect I don't believe everything I read on the internet, which is why I called it a rumour. Where did you hear it anyway?
