One of my old housemates was complaining that I forgot her birthday so my first reaction was to buy her a cheap porn dvd from play.com because it would a) wind her up, and b) despite the complaints she's blatently enjoy it.

However I suddenly remembered the classic australian horror film 'Body Melt'.  Not that I'd ever seen it, but a horror starring the legend Ian Smith (Harold Bishop) can't be bad.

A bit more research shows that 'Body Melt' also has at least some appearences from Lesley Baker who has reguarlly appeared in neighbours as  Angie Rebecchi (Toadie's Mum) on and off for the last 10 years.

It's also only £3.99, having allready ordered it for my friend I'm now tempted to order it for myself. Despite IMDB's pretty average rating.

It's stuff like this which adds up and makes me skint.

How can imdb say the cast are all unkowns when Harold Bishop is in it. Probably the world's greatest tv star.

Looks superb.

Have you seen Bad Taste and Braindead Ben?

More schlock horror by Lord of The Rings director Peter Jackson.  Cracking films to watch under the influence.

Think it's been mentioned to me before, probably around the time of the lord of the rings films coming out. Never seen it before though (unless I was drunk and forgot).

On Peter Jackson films, I remember Heavenly Creatures being pretty good. Sort of uncomfortable to watch in bits but not in a bad way. Think I've only seen it once or twice though.
