Asher buy your own parts and oil from Eurocarparts at Rushey Platt .
Its genuine stuff at a fraction of the price of the dealer parts. The garage youve gone to has clearly charged you full retail get some prices and ring them back and ask for a refund.

BMW cars are ridiculosly expensive to run.
The M Power cars are in Ferrari league, it's a fucking joke.
After the 3 year warranty has run out, it costs £1500 on cars under 50k miles to renew it every year or £1800 on cars over 50k miles
Thats just the M cars but normal Beemers are still expensive.

As for the oil, i pay £45 for 5 litres of Mobil 1 racing formula.
They must be drinking the stuff cos no oil should cost much more.
Find out for me what the capacity of your oil sump is.
Mine is 5.5 litres
I'd imagine yours to be the same roughly
I know they use special oil for the M Power cars but not a 330 Ci

It will be in the handbook, the bottle of oil will probally be 5 litres. Your engine being a 3 litre would use a fair bit of oil, i reckon about a 6 litre sump capacity. But 5 litres of Mobil 1 is £45 Add £9 for a 1 litre bottle Thats £54 in total So where do BMW get £71 from?
