Cureton played on Sat for ColU....presumably his head isn't necessarily going to be in the best of frames of mind for another trip to Pool, he scored the winner there a few weeks back.....Iffy's call will tell us a great deal about where this is going.

Why are some of you sayin rubbish about Fallon all of a sudden? Hes been one of our best performers this season and without him and his goals, we would be stuck at the bottom of the league with hardly any points and hardly any goals and adrift from the rest of the league.

That true, but he hasnt had a decent performance in weeks. You're only as good as your last game.

You could and should say the same about Evans contribution

bit harsh still though to just slate him all of a sudden. I'd play him today with Holgate. Curo should be on the bench.

I'm not slating him but IMO his mind is elsewhere.

He'll be shit for Forest aswell, apart from scoring past us.

Yeah we'd be nowhere without Rhys Evans' goals....

personally i'd put him on the bench.

throwing him straight into the team doesn't send out the best of messages to the rest of the players, particularly those who saw how poor he was before he went to colchester. it would also take him down a peg or two, i'm concerned that he'll see himself as 'our saviour' and start getting ideas above his station.

we might be lacking goals but we've been doing well lately and i think iffy needs to show some loyalty to the lads who have performed, particularly holgate.

If we can create some changes a la the last 10 minutes against the Swans, Cureton will flourish. Put him in there, i say.

surely then it serves to have him on the bench if we're going for the final flourish approach?

i think holgate deserves to keep his place in the starting XI, he's been very impressive the last few weeks & works hard & puts himself about, something i can't see cureton doing.

curo should start on the bench & come on for the last half hour if needed.

but if Cureton gets 1 decent chance he'll put it away more so than Holgate
