i heard it for the first time today and thought it wasnt too bad. was expecting some crazy frog type thing but was surprised when it was a 'normal' song.

that nonce from x factor will get it easy though. then never to be heard of again.

I'm not sure that the whoever wins/won? x-factor will get it this year. Don't really listen to the radio or anything though so my opinion is pretty uninformed. Just have a feeling that the JCB song will stay up there.

At the end of the day though, the fact it's about a digger will sell sell the records. It's a pure average song if you ask me

Fuck knows, just a fact that the masses get selled some pap because it's 'different'. I've asked many people why they like it - they cannot give me a decent answer, other than the fact it's a song about a yellow digger tbh

Digger songs are always big sellers, it's a common marketing ploy.

Bob the builder,
the great escape,
dig for Christmas

At least the JCB song was written and sung by the same person. These bloody X-Factor people have the song written and given to them on a plate!

Still doesn't avoid the fact it's average though. Do I listen to the charts? Do I fuck!

Singer/songwriter - what a fucking wank term. Back in the day they were known as solo artisits. I'm right as well.

thats all very well but shit is always going to float to the top of the singles charts because of the people that buy them (little girls mostly). i had feared that the jcb phenomenom was another crazy frog but was pleasantly surprised when i heard it that its actually a song using lyrics and a guitar.

jcb or xfactor si pi? surely not hard.

I'm allowed to say that as im to old to feel the need to be cool anymore.

I wanted the Binman to win.
