There's something I must admit I never thought I'd hear anyone say.

does 'man mark' = 'lunge in for stupid challenges and get himself sent off'?

If he's man marking Trundle that will mean he'll be man marking somebody else.

I think that if you give Ifil a job like that he does it ok. It's like he realises he has to think all the way through the game. When he's part of a zonal defence his mind wanders and the mistakes creep in.
Jerel will have him in his pocket. Not a nice final game for Swansea for Trundle.

No, because the likes of Parkin, Mooney, Howard, Igoe, Heywood etc arent here anymore Where as Jerel Ifil still is, isnt he? Of course Ifil's man marking skills are still of some use, because he still actually plays for us I think. Although with some of the comments recently, I am wondering if I watch the same team.......

I reckon we will aswell. Just one of those feelings. Then it's off to celebrate a Swindon Victory and New years eve!

I think I'm headed to Cardiff on NYE which potentially means sharing a lovely train journey West with the taffy buggars! hence winning would be more necessary than ever.
