I believe Shakes may have made his first decent cross on sat, it forced a corner and was pretty good, well whipped in dippint to the middle, no on egot on the end of it though. Generally his product is pretty poor from what I've seen.

I was in fact comparing him to the other players effort wise. he actually looked like he wanted to be on that pitch which is more that can be said for most of the others.

That's true Shakes kept getting in good positions and tried to do the right things, if his crosses are poor ir's cos he's not good enough, I don't mind that because at least he made the effort to be in the right place. IMHO Holgate looked OK, best I've seen him, he needs to bulk up a bit though, again at least he looked like he was trying.

you know what? i'm still angry about saturday. i'd give an arm and a leg to have been in the dressing room after the game to give the players a piece of my mind.
i refuse to accept performances like that.

He was probably only trying cos the Trin & Tob manager was about. my thoughts exactly.he said in last weeks paper he needs to keep improving because he wants to get in the world cup squad.any chance he could mention the fact we are bottom of the fuckin league that should be his priority for wanting to perform its exactly what some people are saying on here they dont seem to give a fuck do they.

Why - you never pay for your own ticket anyway. does that mean i can't feel anger and frustration at seeing the team i love performing ineptly, struggling at the bottom of the league and seeing the club die a slow and painful death?
