Thanks to the joys of Sky+ ive just rewound the tv and seen the incident, how he got away with it is beyond me!. Disgusting sums it up.
Funny how Mark Hughes said that the ref was probably one of the best in the Premiership, is that because your players can commit GBH without being punished for it.

Exactly what I thought - he damn near ended Carragher's career a couple of years back, has been involved in several similarly appalling (but not as widely reported) incidents since, and now that elbowing. Time to get tough - none of this yellow card malarkey, we demand pitch-side floggings for the likes of Neill. Seriously, the bloke shouldn't be on a football pitch, he's just an animal. |
