i'm in desperate need of funds, can you really sell anything on ebay?

i've only bought stuff a couple of times myself, never sold owt.

can i put stuff up for sale and take it off? if something doesn't sell for the amount i wanted can i keep it? is it hard work?

if it ain't soiled and it ain't porn it stays

you can't take something off once it has a bid... so set a reserve (think of it as a minimum release clause)

it's piss easy, but there are seller fee's

Sold loads on Ebay - Imagine Car Boot Sale type stuff - you can sell anything as long as someone wants it...

E.g. Sold some Man Utd Programmes (bought for £3, sold for £6 to some bloke in Cornwall)

You can take things off, but only if it's done before 12 hours left to run....
Easier to let it run its course and just sell it....

Check what things are going for - ie selling a DVD search for the latest DVD for sale and watch that auction - what's the final price.

And overcharge on postage     Cool

Reserves are only for £50 and over.....and there's an additional fee.

Expect about 90% of your top bid to actually reach you....

I usually Start the bidding price around what I want to sale it for.
But I find selling stuff for about £1-5 is pointless. After paypal and ebay charges, You don't get much back.
(And then there's annoying part of cashing a cheque of about £3.50).

Just sell things you know are going to sale and have a good sum of money.

yes of course, because i'm sure employers would be delighted to employ someone for a few hours here and there around college.
