Any out of contract players we could bring in to do a job? Merely a speculation thread obviously, can anyone see 'Summerbee' having another stint? any players worth looking at? I liked the look of James Constable, started on bench for Walsall vs Forest at weekend. Shame we missed out on him a talent i felt, how about 'Turbo' coming back on a 6 month contract? what does everyone else think? what would you do in Iffy's shoes realistically? Wink

sign a dirty git for midfield with experience .. not sure who tho

sign up Gurney and MaccyD - get rid of Collins

try and sign up Bouazza till end of season

get Curo back

maybe consider selling one of Sean O or Jerel ... for a bit of dosh to spend on other areas?Huh? if the price is right only tho

give youth a chance .. Leigh Henry - that Gary Pryde who looked useful - and Ashan Holgate all deserve more of a go

First choice side

Evans

Smith/Jenks O Hanlon Comyn Platt Nicholas

Pook Migz Gurns

Curo Fallon Bouazza

Subs Heaton Ifil MaccyD Roberts Smith/Jenks

I'd like to see more talent signed up from lower divisions, we could do with a scout like AK but obviously that'll never happen with AK himself, although he hasnt had his name removed for the payroll yet has he.....

Just like we got a cut of the Parkin money to spend on his replacement

We will never pay money for a player again.

We need another gritty midfielder, I think Gurney has done well in that role and he has been missed while injured.

Id say also sign Gurney, but I think we have a better chance at the end of the season rather than Jan while he is still under contract.

We also need someone who can score goals, but also create them. Someone who can run past a few players. Thats one thing Rory cant do, pick up the ball and run past defenders. In an ideal world we would re-call Jamie  Cureton and he would do that for fun....

Right winger we need, Shakes cant cross and Roberts cant be bothered.

Agreed, ok Shakes puts alot of effort in but its useless having a Right winger who cant cross the fooking ball.

Yep, yet every week you see Matty Bulman crossing them in for the first choice keeper during the warm up, why not get Shakes to do it? Should improve his crossing...or play Bulman right wing?!

Don't they play 442 aswell. iffy likes 4-5-1 (or 4-3-3 which ever way you look at it). Will he change it? I don't think he would IMO.
