...its a humbling experience to carry the hopes of an embryonic nation on your shoulders....

 The girls were very emotional,and insisted in me joining them in the post match bath for champagne and warming down...and despite my protestations I felt it would be wrong not to join in.

  I'd like to thank all the Czech supporters for voting in our favour, and I'm sure the fact TEF voted Czech birds the best in the world, can be used as an opening gambit the next time you're in Prague

 The fact that the gallant Itailians were drawn out of the hat to play the Czechs in the football  WC was altogether predictable given events on this site.
