arrived at Work and reversed my car right into the pillar underneath the building.  Part of the bumper thing has become dislodged at one side -  was just wondering if anyone would know how much roughly it will cost to have repaired?

Its a ford fiesta zetec if that makes any difference.

What a great start to my day  Crying

Im generally a good driver - never had an accident or anything - in all fairness, the lighting in the car park this morning wasn't on so made it difficult to judge.

Just the bumper luckily, bit scratched but thats the least of my worries.

Theres a small gap on one side between the bumper and the body of the car.

It sounds like it has just come unclipped from the side.
Should be an easy fix and won't cost a penny.

Never work on a Saturday.  :nono:

I had my bumper smashed off once by a woman driver. It was also a Fiesta and I couldn't find a new bumper part anywhere.
Then again I only looked in scrap yards.

Good luck anyway. It's always really annoying when something happens to your own car.

We only have to work eight saturdays a year from 9.30 till one and it gets me 5 weeks paid holiday so well worth it!!!

I don't think its badly damaged enough to need completely replacing though.  Fingers crossed.  It should be safe enough to drive down the 419 later on though

If its any consolation, I have never had an accident in over 8 years of driving!

Hope fixing your bumper isn't too costly. I shouldn't imagine it would be!

Nice consolation!!!!  I've never had what I would call anything major - just the odd knock.

Just for the record, I will still be happy to give lifts to away games - Im not a dangerous driver - honest!
