Not AKA green belt, that's a totally different legal entity, community forset still doesn't sound good.  It could mean the east side of the A419 out of town towards Gloucester maybe?

Anything North East is encroaching on Oxford fans base - so would be denied by the powers that be FA/UEFA/FIFA etc.

North encroaches on Cheltenham's catchment population

Either South, East, or West then

He refers a lot to Rugby, and reading/london irish. Makes you think. But he's right behind the idea of CG redevelopment. He wants to stay where we are which is good.

It could be on the East side of the 419 as it leaves the Town just outside SBC boundaries

The bloke is obviously very passionate about STFC. What pisses me off is that members of the public have negative thoughts. Why? One bloke said 'Why should I as a SBC tax payer, pay for STFC to develop its ground?'. FFS, it'll benefit the whole town bring in extra revenue etc.

I would just like to congratulate Mark on a brilliant radio interview and hopefully all goes well for monday.

I think that the land inbetween Cricklade and Blunsdon is where they are looking. I've nothing to back that up, it just makes sense.  NWBC rather than SBC, most of the land is privatly owned by farmers I'd imagine.

Good transport link with the A419, not far from Swindon itself. I could be wide of the mark but it would all make sense to me.

Indeed. He is missing the point. We would be the major user of the facilities, but it wouldn't be 'our' ground. It would be SBCs ground.

Not to mention that most of us pay council tax for suff we never use ourselves. If we didn't the system would collapse.

seems I've missed a few things on my travels.

Can we not get a football stadium that floats in the sky?

A mate of a mate has some land near Blunsdon, applied for planning permission for a small bungalow - denied
They will never get permission for a Football Stadium around there.

The Blunsdon lot are the biggest NIMBY's out there.  Agree with NR.

With regards to the by pass there's been meeting after meeting about that.  The local residents stick together like glue.  I only know as my mrs' family seem to have a lot of friends from Blunsdon and they're always going on about meetings.
