I need help. On thursday I am cooking for my bible studies group and there is a vegitarian. As I used to work as butcher and still do you can guess I am not a vegitarian. I need something that is easy to cook for a veggie.

If you have a good idea can you please do recipe and method.

Thanks in advance.

Depends what sort of vegetarian they are.....but there are lots of things you can do....for example substitute Quorn for meat.....make a toad in the hole...Quorn sausages are reasonable.

Yeah basically, I suggest a selection of courgettes, peppers, onions and leeks, said veggie should be happy.

Vegetarians are scum  :x

Unfortunately I'm married to one Crying - thus we eat a lot of pasta

Chinese is good (veggie stir-fry) or a traditional Indian meal (saag, dhal, aloo etc. no meat/extra meaty bits to please the carnivores)

They look OK,  I wouldn't eat one myself, but in a toad in the hole with some decent gravy should be alright.

I sometimes make a vegetable pie, which is pretty good, by any standards and consists of plenty of different veg, leeks, carots, sprouts, swede, mushroom, shallots etc partly boiled according to their hardness, then put into a pie with a marmite style vegy gravy, using the stock from the veg.

Arrowroot to make the gravy thick....then put the lot into a lidded pie and cook.....

I'd go with KT's suggestion actually. My mum's a veggie and a lasagne wasn't too bad (although not a patch on a proper lasagne).
