Just saw this on one of those football rumour websites - what do you think?

Milllwall will sign Swindon Town forward Rory Fallon for £250,000 in January. The deal is signed but can only go through in January. That's why Swindon have signed Mikolanda with a view to a season long loan!!! 100% True!

Not true.

If he was going to leave I'm sure it isn't to a team bottom of the Championship.

If he goes we might as well get a forum team together to play the rest of the season ...

Fallon will be sold, why else get a clone on loan.  It's either money in January or nothing in June.

The most likly scenario for next season is a player exodus, posibly a new manager, and if we are lucky we don't end up like Aldeshot or Newport.

Agreed, and i was told by mate today that before the Brizzle game Mr Carson was interviewed and asked if he would be getting his chequebook out in January!?, he started laughing and then went on to say "no, they still owe me money!".

Yep. He did say that. He just doesn't get it.

Working on that basis, having WASTED around £300 or so per season recently on tickets, travel, kit etc I am owed around £1000 by the club and I shan't put any more money in until I get it back  :-))(

Actually the play off season was okay. We'll call it £650  Wink

Excellent news if that's the case.  I liked the look of Mikolanda, nice couple of touches for a big man.

I heard the same runour at the game, but Plymouth were the interested party.  For a guy with 6 months to run on his deal it'd be a good price, but the decision will come down to how likely we look to be relegated, if we rally over the next month and move up a few places then it'd be suicide to sell.  If we're 'down by christmas' then the money wouldn't go amiss.

If someone had come in offering 250k for Fallon last season there would have been a stampede towards the Bank with the paying in slips.

As for the board - they are not investors, they are appointed via SSW's vote at AGM's to act as Directors of his business.  If you want the board out you have two options:

Buy SSW's shares (and take on his debt)
Find SSW a top notch business guru who is willing to work for a packet of peanuts and some pork scratchings.
