Just been on to www.wembleystadium.com and went on the 3d view finder.  here you can click on a seat and see what the view would be like.

From the plans it does look slightly worrying that the two ends are going to be uncovered.  I just clicked on the top seats and the end and can see no roof.  Surely they're not going to have uncovered seating at the so called "Home of Football"?

I was just planning on what seat I'm gonna go for in next years LDV final and 2006 PO final, and the roof is an issue.  For the LDV I don't wanna get drenched and for the PO Final, having scottish skin I don't wanna get to red, especially with extra time and pens looking likely.

Stadium does look good though!!

Don't think the roof would move as that massive arch goes through one of the sides of the roof.  Hope some of you have rememebered to keep your Brighton plastic rain coats.

"The arch supports all of the weight of the north roof and 60 per cent of the weight of the southern side. By using an arch to bear some of the weight of the southern roof it is possible to retract the south roof to allow light and air onto the pitch."

"The new roof will be over 11 acres. Four acres are moveable"
