after having to de-ice my car at lunchtime today, i'm a little concerned about the prospect of a frozen pitch. i just de-iced my car but it is 2 in the morning, fooking freezing out there. And i slid my car sideways avoiding a black cat  :x missed it though Try harder next time please!

Hull have taken Painter on loan until January 1st, when they will sign him permanently. Right......seems a bit of a donkey to me, certainly not in Fallon's class and they get 200K or something. Almost 2 years on and I hope your opinions may have changed slightly since then Reg!

You certainly dug this one up ! I just put Paynter into the TEF search engine is all. Thought a few more mentions of him would occur - I swear he featured in one of those " What about that Paynter at Port Vale/Hull/Southend, he's available" type threads

Its good fun digging up old posts......think we lost 1-0, I hate playing Port Vale, although I do like Burslem....a mate used to live in the Potteries and he reckoned Burslem was the only place in England where you could buy a second hand flying saucer.
My new opinion of Billy I've just posted on his own thread...... a handful, but not a clinical finisher, which is my way of saying donkey, now he's our player.

Just checked and it was a 1-1 game.....it was of course season 05/06.....Hameur Bouazza scored for us.....the Trinny boy refered to was Chris Birchall, who played in the 06 WC...white man in Hammersmith Palais.
He scored a late equaliser.

Confused the hell out of me when I started to read this thread. I can understand why.....its a bit scary reading back these old threads, it seems like so long ago, but is < 2 years.

In our 00/01 away trip to Oxford, they misspelt Port Vale in the program as Pot Vale. It was funny at the time.

That'd be a reject from one of the potteries I suppose ?

Thought the site was buggered when I saw the dates...then I read the posts about de-icing cars and realised what was going on.
Really hope he's not a donkey!
