......bit confused, looking on the PV rivals site, it says they've sold Billy Paynter  to Hull...this seemed to have happened about a week ago.

Can't say I noticed it, can anyone confirm?

They've also got in Tugwell, who performed admirably last season, when the scum lost 8 in a row......and Clayton Fortune who the Shitheads regard as crap beyond redemption.

Maybe a window of opportunity....if the game avoids postponement because of a frozen pitch.

Hull have taken Painter on loan until January 1st, when they will sign him permanently.

Right......seems a bit of a donkey to me, certainly not in Fallon's class and they get 200K or something.

The Trinny boy got injured too, so thye may be a bit short on players.

My original surge of optimism has now foundered on remembering they got in Leon Constantine, as replacement presumably for Paynter.

Constantine is very much an STFC specialist, but nobody else much.

I still laugh at the thought of seeing him unmarked being a good 2m+, in our 6 yd box at Torquay, as if no-one knew he was there....a stunt replicated on Wed, to allow Old Pineapple 'Ed a free header.

Oh well it was fun while it lasted.

Frozen pitch is a possibility looking at the way the weather is at the moment...

Apparently PV have similar problems to us with shading by a stand....but  I cant remember a game going for a frozen pitch in Nov.  of course doesn't mean that it can't.

Of course that is one model, whereby melting polar ice caps, drop cold water into the Gulf Stream, and reduce its warming effect, which keeps our islands warm....without it we'll end up like the Gulf of Bothnia.

after having to de-ice my car at lunchtime today, i'm a little concerned about the prospect of a frozen pitch.

It was really cold up that way the night before last and noticed the M5 M6 northbound were full to bursting yesterday due to heavy traffic and roadworks (M6).

Which suggests you should leave early, but then that may mean you end-up getting there only to find out it is off.
