Me and the Mrs had planned to go to Paris for 3 nights ove New Year, but we're probably gonna give it a miss now. Primarily because that's what those Frenchies would do (ie not come to Britain) if there was any sign of trouble on these shores.

Now Paris is off the agenda I'm thinking the same. Then in Jan or Feb take advantage of the Ryanair/Easyjet 99p offers and go to Italy for a long weekend.

I'll be watching Town play in the afternoon and then drinking myself slowly into a stupour with my Dad no doubt before gradually drifting asleep, probably about 10 minutes before new year. That's unless any mates come up with a great idea of how to spend the night.
