The Stunners Home Nations/World Cup
After the bit of national jiggery pokery in the films thread I thought it was nigh on time that we solve this conundrum once and for all. Which country has the fittest women?
Rules are simple…
1. Select our country 2. Post your team off three players (no funbags or fisherman’s bedrolls out please chaps) when the thread is open (NOT YET) 3. Voting opens this weekend format as follows… 4. No subs or changing your first posted team
-Qualifiers* -1st Round Group Stages (2 Groups of 5 teams) -Quarter Finals: 1. Winner Group 1 Vs Runner Up Group 2 2. Runner up Group 2 Vs Winner Group 1 -Semi Final -Grand Final
*Home nations automatically qualify, if more than 10 entrants then the lowest placed teams according to the FIFA football rankings will have to qualify). If interest is high then competition may be expanded to 20 teams with four groups in the 1st round.
Groups/Matches decided by polls in the event of a draw an independent adjudicators panel made up of the Mod team will decide the outcome on a point basis.
Without further ado simply post your name and your chosen country. In the even of the same country being selected twice preference is given in post/time order.
No photos/pictures yet – unleashed in the first matches.
Ahh thankyou

Dazzza I'm confused!
If only the winners and runners up of the two groups go through then that's 4 teams in the quarter final, 2 in the semi and only 1 in the final. Have I read it wrong or is it wrong?

I've picked my 3 women, they're not bad. Don't think they'll win but having seen the prize I'm quite glad.

Excuse me for being thick, but do the women have to hail from the country concerned, in which case I bags the Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic is a great shout Reg, went to Prague recently and the women there are out of this world! I only picked France as I was emailed something today! I have my team!
