mozilla firefox profiles

anyone know how to change these? i've lost all me bookmarks. alternatively the location of the folder where bookmarks are kept?

First unhide hidden folders by going to view>folder options (in windows explorer)

Then go to C:/documents and settings/<your logon username>/application data/mozilla/firefox.

The profiles can be found there. There's a configuration document as well. OPen that with notepad and change the "1" to a "0" next to "start with last profile". it should mean that when you open firefox next it asks you to select a profile

Um ok I tried that and it doesnt work. Let me have a re-think

Ok found where the bookmarks are and this does work:

In firefox go to bookmarks>manage bookmarks. Then file>import. Select import from file. Go to the same place I said before (documents and settings etc. etc.) then look in the profiles folder. In one of the profiles there should be a bookmarks.html file. Select it and import.
