Not good for Hibs- they'd be acting as a feeder club to Chelsea, who'd get first refusal on any half decent young 'un

I thought feeder clubs had gone out of fashion.

Few years back every league club seemed to get linked to AC Milan/Juventus as their new feeder club but nowt ever really happened.

At one point there was talk of Premiership clubs being allowed to purchase league clubs outright the penalty being that the league club could never ascend to the Premiership.

I wouldn’t worry though.  You’ll see a couple of players go in each direction then that’ll be it.

Not good Johno.  Hins have a good youth set up, a lot of Scottish youngster come up through the ranks at ER, unlike a lot of other SPL sides.  Would be bad if Hibs had to play some U-19 Russian in place of a Scot in my book.

Also as Dazzza says would someone like Riordan get snapped up by Chelsea and stuck in the ressies for a few years.

I loathe the idea of feeder clubs, it's just another way in which big clubs can fuck over smaller ones.

Maybe stfc and spurs could link, they're good at sending us young loan players?

Because it's in Edinburgh, a city with a huge catchment area, which has been served by two (at one stage three if you count Meadowbnak Thistle)underachieving teams for quite some time.  Both Hibs and Hearts have a lot of potential for good times ahead.

thats why i believe that Rangers and Celtic going to the premiershit would seriously damage the scottish domestic game. hibs and hearts are now providing healthy competition for the "big boys"
