won the league one play-off final 1-0 against barnsley after a late surge took me to the play-offs, where i beat swansea 6-1 on aggregate :\/
horsfield was top scorer with 21, followed by roberts and peacock with 15 and 14 respectively.
once again, aaron brown was my best player with stats of 46 games, 4 goals, 16 assists and 7 motm. the cunt.

Re: closing down.
Decided it's best to have little up front (with the exception of one pacy striker still on high) and often-mixed at the back. The theory being my defence is now good enough to win the ball quickly and play it up field while my attacking players are still up there. Seems to be working a charm in pre-season. I changed very little else, only toned down the time wasting a couple of notches below the middle. Away from home I waste more time from the start though and play narrower. Still the same formation, but a few other things tweaked as well.
I also vary my tactics on a game to game basis, mainly in the game though after I see what's happening. I've managed to get good at killing off games after half time if I'm leading though, which did seem to be a problem with my team for a few seasons.

thats exactly what i do. Helps stop the AI countering your formation too |
