so i got sacked by swindon. fuckers. now manager of league 2 giants ALDERSHOT[/i][/u], currently sitting pretty in 5th at the end of january. lots of comings and goings already since taking over, and i've built a squad i'm actually happy with. lots of interest in one of my strikers, hasnt scored since i took over mind, but still worth £900k! all in all, an interesting turn of events!

I haven't played this at all. I remember signing Ndah for next to nothing and that's about it.

my games goes painfully slow.
Im up to the 28th of December 2005!
I'm away at ColU. I'm currently sitting 2nd.
Bolton have put in offers for SeanO, Ifil, Rhys and Fallon.
Fallon has just signed a new contract though, Evans is thinking about one.......SeanO refused.
Fallon has 22 in 20 Roberts has 11 in 22
Miglioranzi ever present and captain with 5 goals

I got the new FM06 game for christmas and only just installed it this morning. Im havin trouble figuring out whats the best formations and tactics to use though.... On the other manager games i was good but this one seems a bit harder than usual. Any tips? In my first friendly, i lost to hereford united 3 fuckin nil!!!! Now thats bad.
So yeah, any hints or tips on the best tactics to use and formations to use, please post them up. Thanks.
Also, how do some of you manage to sell players for so much money? I have had one offer and that was for Nicho in exchange for some shit player and 3k!!!!

I generally go 4-4-2. What I've found on all management games with Swindon is that they start off slowly. I am always around the bottom for the first 8 or so games, win one then go on a run of about 12 wins on the trot, then slow down again at xmas time.
You get decent money for players because their value goes up because they are playing well....

So when you sign players, do you offer the club say 2k up front with clauses? (pay them 35k when promoted for example)

Tijarnni (sp) Babangida is a very good player people. You can sign him on a free at the start of the game and his work permit is accepted too (as hes nigerian) Hes plays on either wing and is an attackin player.
