70 minutes of total and utter shite, we were absolutely diabolical and looked shambolic until the goal and the players finally realised they were playing a game of football.
today was the first time this season when i watched a game and thought to myself that we're going down. there was no cohesion, no communication, we couldn't hold onto the ball and when we did have the ball we gave it away cheaply.
there was no width, no strength in the midfield and fallon had no support. if you're going to play 4-5-1 then the two wide men (roberts and bouazza) need to get wide and support fallon, not drift into the centre.
pook, whalley and mcdermott all gave very good performances, or at least they were convincing headless chickens.
didn't see the elbow but fair enough, if it was he deserved to go. i still felt obliged to give the ref some stick. without fallon for three games, we're fucked.
roberts is a selfish greedy lazy cunt but without fallon we'll have to persevere with him.
...and i got told off for swearing by a steward. at a football match.
see you at 'uddersfield

Pook once again showed today that he works as hard as possible, but it just isn't good enough.

really? you can't blame him for his effort, but his passing isn't that great. he'll continue to get into the first team, but he isn't really good enough imo.

see you at 'uddersfield The bit in bold is kind of harsh dont you think? They played well for the majority of the second half and they had spells of good play in the first.

I think its a reasonable assesment from SY...we were truly awful.....a classic case of asking players to do what they're not able to....ie playing 4-3-3....
Its only to be expected that an inexperienced manager is going to make a lot of mistakes.....unfortunately we don't really have that luxury.

Wish Whalleys shot had gone in first half that grazed the post. Would have been mad.
Roberts is officially a pussy. Bouzza is a better player and impressed today. Colwyn-Platt, decent. Mcdermot, rubbish. Pook, no comment.
Ref - total shit.
