This may sound hard but let it go, I take it this is your first term at uni?

If my somewhat distant memory of being a student is correct you'll find that most of you that arrived at Uni with a girlfriend/boyfriend from home will find that relationship on the rocks before Christmas.

Tell her you understand, and that you'll see her around and get out and meet some of the women at your Uni, chances are that once you do your arse won't stop bouncing up and down till next summer. (you might just find you meet a girl that you click with better than the current one too)
