I wore my Lonsdale black polo top to Brentford and Stevenage. It stinks but I've forbidden the misses to wash the luck out of it.

2 points:

1. Did you know you can only get the polo shirt with the 'nationwide' logo on it now because they got uppity?
2. Despite being an adult why do I think what I wear has any impact on results.

Because it does.  Christ, don't ever stop believing in that one.  Someone nicked my lucky scarf in 1995 (Bolton fan during semi final).  It had been replaced with a nice new one for the Prem season!

Now look at us.  Barely a season to remember since.  Lucky items pass on their strength in many ways to our players, the more people who stop believing in the luck, the harder it is.

This man with "JACKO" Number 50 on his Swindon shirt gave me a wristband on the train before the Brentford game.  It says "SWINDON TOWN FC".  I have worn it since then and we have kept cleansheets in both matches.  It is my new lucky charm.

I know, I used a nice new scarf for the 1993-94 season, thinking I was doing the right thing.  Lucky Scarf was consigned to the bottom of the wardrobe and was even considered lost at one point.

I finally snapped and took Lucky scarf along to cup games at the end of 94/95 (trying to ease it back in) but it was nicked from my car window at the Shell garage after we one 2-1 in the first leg.  Need I go on to explain what results this had for the clubs away leg!  Notice the upswing in Boltons fortunes since then!  This is clearly not a coincidence.

I started shaving my head in 1996/97 - I'm to blame for our slump methinks. Sad

Ah I see.  Did the culprit leave any clues?

Perhaps we can track him down and retrieve your scarf thus bringing the good times back to us, whilst hopefully making Bolton shit again at the same time.
