David Duke may be available after x-rays showed he did not break his leg at Bury on Saturday, as was feared

... but it is still very sore and means he cannot cross or tackle or jump. So nothing has changed but at least he has an excuse now.

King's insistence in picking Duke (and Hewlett and Howard) despite all obvious evidence of lack of form/wrong position/lack of ability typified all that was ultimately to cause his demise.

I would argue that it was the lose of players like Daisy to an extent Howrd, but not Hewlett....along with  Sniff, Heywood and Eyeglue...is what cost King his job......we all knew SSP was going, but Fallon has stepped up.

Agree with you, Reg.  Daisy was a bit frustrating at times, but he had some very, very good days.  The problem I had with him is that he was mostly played on the left when he is right footed and much better as a right back.

I remember pre-season last year when he ran Southampton ragged on the right - seemed bizarre he didn't play there more.

But, he did have a decent cross on him ...

I was thinking more of the increasing desperation in his decisions which defied all common sense.

True....which is what happens to you when you are presented with a task and then not the materials to do it.

Isn't it about time you had something other than 'reserve team' under your name Sade?

I suggest you threaten SY with something bad - I don't know what. :?
