I aksed a very lovely girl out this evening - she is a friend of a friend of mine and we were talking for quite a while.
Naturally she said no, because she has a fella apparently - although I was told she was single and she thought I was 'cool'.
I feel worthless. I might just give up and die.

Then she'll fix you up with a blind date with her cousin Louise, who's apparently real shy, doesn't go out much, but packs a 36D bra, and wears a lacy thong. Next thing you know, you are on vitamin pills, off alcohol, and are wondering why the admiral is not saluting after the thirty-seventh time in three days.
Keep a positive attitude, be pleasant, and you will be fighting them off.
