Patience kills me in the tourneys.
If I play my usual game I normally hit top 70 in the Ladbrokes freerolls out of 800 or so.
That's cracking though Village how many entered?

I've given in to temptation and decided to play a $20 tourney, starting in a bit. Top 60 paid, $100 minimum win. About 450 entered so far. Any of you boys fancy some of that action?

If you mean ring games, i steer well clear, had some bad experience when i first started and haven't ventured back in yet. I played both and was fairly poor at both tbh. That was quite a while ago though. I prefer the tourneys, mainly because it's a good way of limiting how much cash i'm blowing in one sitting

Not so good at the moment. Tried limit games at first, but it's almost impossible to push someone with an over-card off a pot. Started playing pot limit games which are slightly better but one rash call and you could lose a small fortune. At the moment i'm too poor so I think i will get some practice in before playing real money again

Practice tables have helped me alot, started off playing money games, realised i was carp, went on the practice tables, got better, now starting to do alot better in the tourneys
