... No. Not the overpaid prima donna with a funny shaped mouth, but the Brazillian city.
Basically, I am due to be working there for much of the autumn and am obviously hoping to take in as much football as possible. If anyone has been there and been to any games, then advice would be appreciated.

dunno mate, but you wanna see "city of god" (aka "cidade de deus"), if you haven't already. it's a spanish language film, but it's based in the slums of rio, and is absolutely fantastic viewing.
one of the actors in it (seu jorge, the guy that played "knockout ned") was recently in "the life aquatic" as the guy who spent the whole film with a guitar in his lap playing portuguese versions of bowie songs.
