but I can't.

Dave asked me what I thought of the game when I saw him outside afterwards and I said "fucking shite". I think that more or less sums it all up.

I'm going to get slated for this but I'm glad some people - even if it was just a bunch of kids - made themselves heard outside the executive lounge, the ineptitude of our board means they won't react to anything unless it's blatant and in their face so perhaps they will take some notice. Thankfully, I didn't hear it much during the game, when I did it was drowned out by 'Swindon til I die' et al.

These are dark days, my friends. I fear for the future of this club.

You're right to fear SY....on the evidence so far this season, we just don't have sufficient players good enough for this level...the accusation that they aren't playing because of King doesn't hold....I think we've a number who are playing as well as they're able.

I'm also fearing we've seen the last of Migs, according to Iffy its a knee ligament injury....I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't call it a day and move onto something fresh.

Its ironic, that we should be playing Donny on Tuesday.....because a few years back they too resembled a complete basket case....with the chairman burning down the ground, and having no decent players and a succession of joke managers....they got relegated with the lowest points ever if they even completed the season.

Then they bottomed out a new chairman invested 5 mill, which has got them up to where they are now.

I suspect we've a way to fall yet....and its going to get very rough...

If you mean the fans forum....its early October.....I'd imagine this board will try and avoid calling an AGM for as long as possible.

We weren't that bad today, not as bad as some of you make out. We were in control of the game before Bradford scored and even then we did press them at the end a bit.

The trouble is, not that we are shite, but that we are fairly OK for most of the game except for the odd crucial mistakes  leading to goals against. Why? I have no idea, but they seem to go to sleep sometimes, and it is unpredictable, from all areas of the pitch. Is it faults in training and coaching, or unfamiliar formations, or players in changed positions, or they are pissed off and couldn't care less in some cases, or are they not good enough and will always keep making crucial mistakes no matter what ?
I enjoyed the game today apart from losing, but somehow one was almost waiting for that vital error......and there were two.

No we weren't that bad, but can the errors be eradicated?
Waiting in trepidation....    :?

To be fair it wasn't until we had already really lost the game before the king out chants came in.

Watching a bit of Jimmy Hill's programme on sky and they were talking about Alan Pardew at West Ham and how he was probably in Andy King's position about 12-18 months ago. (They obviously never mentioned King!) The fans were on his back and wanted him out. He took the bull by the horns and has turned the club and the fans around and many will say that he has done a good job there.

So If you ain't gonna resign King, take a leaf out of Alan Pardew's book, at least show a bit of passion and effort instead of sitting on your fat arse. You never know, the players may start responding. If I was a player and my manager just sat there, hardly doing anything, showing no appreciation of any effort etc, I know that I wouldn't be giving 100% (I'm a lazy sod anyway!) :-))(
