Been using firefox for over a year now and never use IE at all now, except for some dodgy "Web apps" at work which use some of the ropey proprietary features of IE. Top browser, faster, more stable, less "come see my hard drive O you great unwashed of the web" security holes than IE.

I've been using it for just under a year now. Tried Opera as well but couldn't get on with that

I use firefox. Haven't noticed it being any quicker at all but I like the tabs. Apart from that it's pretty much the same.

geeks make me not want to use it because they list all these gay advantages that I dont care about (being more secure - woo!, faster- I use broadband so it goes at the speed of light whatever i use, more user friendly - I'm browsing the net, it looks the same whatever I do).

but i do like tabbed browsing so I use it anyway.

Give it a try, the only disadvantage I've found is that image heavy webpages take longer to load in Firefox.
