Me, my dad, my uncle and my cousins are renting an RV to drive there.  Gonna be weird hanging around with family members for such a long time. but Im sure I will cope by drinking 100 German beer

No, I shall watch the tournament at home and get a right royal slagging when we lose to Spain on penalties in the 1/4 finals!

I'm hoping that I'll be travelling at that point or very close to a departure time.

World Cup viewing on a sunny beach in Thailand sounds like the next best thing to me.

You got tickets Jimbo?

My old boss was getting hold of some and it's a right lottery what you'll end up with and where/when for.

No but I'm going to the Ashes in Autralia. Well the MCG and SCG Tests anyway. Which to be honest, is far more important

My Aussie mate who came over and lived with us for a week this summer lives in Melbourne and his parents live in Sydney. So out to Melbourne for xmas, MCG Test, off the Sydney for New Year's (which he reliably informs me is awesome) and then the SCG  Test. Can't wait.

Think I'm going to try to get out to Oz for 1 of the tests - would love to do the lot, but there's no way I'll be able to do it. Sad
