Again, Roberts looked very lively when he came on, some of his touches to bring the ball down from Fallon flicks on were class. He started running at people and but some good balls into the box.

It was just a shame the box was empty on most occasions

Thorpe did alright, but took a crap penatly (which in honesty never was) and cost us a goal but tapping in the rebound. If he had left the orginally shot from (Whalley/Pook?!) it would have counted.

He tried to over comlicate things.

Roberts looks lively every time he comes on, when is he going to get a start?

Again, your thoughts?

i reckon he deserves to start up front with fallon.

problem is, if its lazy roberts that turns up, he is the most useless player. he always turns it on as a sub, but when he starts he doesn't always put the same amount of effort in.

I've had my doubts about Robbo starting(is it me or havewe always had a "Robbo" playing for us) but desperate times call for desperate measures and I feel now we have to give him a chance from the off.

Surely anything is better than Cureton or Thorpe starting!?.

Well Roberts has always looked better than them I think, plus he is our top scorer!!!

I think he adds so much than the other two

He always looks dangerous when he comes on, lets hope he can put the effort in if he starts against Bradford.

I'd give Thorpe another start against Bradford, if he's shit again then dump him in the reserves and let him rot.

Roberts has to start - simple as that in my opinion.

OK he's capable of changing the game as a sub, but surely if that's the reason for him being here we are setting ourselves up to be in trouble before he gets on the pitch.

If we have to rely on him bailing us out of trouble for the last 15 minutes then we really are going to be struggling I'm afraid - why not have him make an impact form kick-off?!

I'm not so sure, when he starts he looks tired and lazy, Robbo's fastly turning into a much loved super sub.  Good from the bench, average when he starts.

Not sure what the alternatives are now though.  We're running out of ideas.

Heath is a striker.  Why not play him as one?

Thats because,
Christian Roberts is magic,
He wears a burberry hat,
He drives a Vauxhall Nova,
And has a baseball bat!
He left the scummers in Bristol,
'Cos they are utter shite,
And came to Swindon Town,
Because we're fukin' dynamite!

Robbo isnt much of a super sub is he?

He hasnt exactly saved us, because he always been brought on too late, but he has always caused problems

The fact that he generally causes more problems in the 15 minutes he is on than our other strikers do all games shows he should start....

He is capable of changing things, why wait till we are losing to let him go at them?
