Obviously, the nature of the poll means that only one player can be voted for but Oldaker only getting one vote really doesn't reflect his overall contribution which was excellent and he wasn't far behind Kilkenny...

I think the same applies to Nichols. Tracked back, made a great tackle at 1-0 when they looked certain to score. He hustled, harried, showed for the ball, and kept us ticking very nicely. Yet *another* player who is better suited to this style of play.

That was suggested earlier in the thread and this is indeed one of those rare occasions (hopefully becoming less rare as the season progresses) where that would be a suitable option... Yes

Similarly,Ripley who made a couple of great saves early on and was all round solid
