A bit odd that he only went into a rant on BBC Wilts with Hawes and not the media guy.

Edited maybe?

That wasn’t edited. He did the same thing before the match in the corp suite.

Gave everybody both barrels

Not being funny but this post sums up everything that is wrong at the moment. We are being conditioned by the ownership and management to see L2 mediocrity as success. We shouldn’t be making comparisons with a season where we were bottom of the entire EFL and see bettering it as some kind of achievement.

And we didn’t set foot on the moon !

As a comparison -

Our other 3 previous championship winning seasons in Div 4/L2
Under Macari
84-85 after 5 games we were 10th on 7 points with 2W, 1D and 2L - F6 and A8

Under PdC
11-12 after 5 games we were 21st on 3 points with 1W, 0D and 4L  - F5 and A6

Under Wellens
19-20 after 5 games we were 10th on 8 points with 2W, 2D and 1L - F8 A6

Currently
25-26 after 5 games we are 9th on 9 points with 3W, 0D and 2L - F8 A8

So I would actually suggest that we are on target/above target and have started the season better with more wins than any other time we have won the championship in this division.

Just imagining PdC pacing up and down - thinking about how fat his squad was and how he was going to fix it !!

“Peter Venkman”

Were you at the Station in Colchester all those years ago ?
And the White Hart in Northampton ?
If so, we probably know each other ?

From the station at Colchester
To the cells of Warrington
From the services at Leicester
To the slums of Northampton

We travel over England
And one day Europe too

Cos we all follow the Swindon
We're the famous Town End crew.

I was at all the above barring the White Hart at Northampton as I arrived late to the game as my mates Skoda broke down on the way. I remember Ade Elsworth, Stabber, Ollie, Sid and many others that their names I now forget.
