Smith going off injured then completely fucked us. Princewell barely got involved and Drinan just isn’t a sole central striker kind of player and we struggled as the game went on.

Reading through all the comments, it baffles me how Wright hasn’t been mentioned. The guy is an utter liability and jogs around like he’s a boss but he never tracks his man and constantly caught out of position but just jogs back, no commitment or desire. Even Razor Ruddock in his fattest of days would have run faster than Wright. First goal was his head, 2nd goal was his man he allowed to sprint beyond him. Criminal defending.

Princewill offered absolutely nothing from the start, and should have ben subbed off after 15 min.  As for Wright, can't disagree.  He has taken the blame for the farce goal at Walsall, so I think he has already cost the Town two points lost this season.  I can only suggest that supporters like his play going forward and would rather blame the goalie, or Freckleton for not being here, or whoever.

Up for debate, but severable imponderables.

1. Fitness of other players, in particular Clarke and Ball.
2. Whether three of four at the back.
3. High line or low block?
4. Move for him in the offing?
5. Who put their hands up to take responsibility during the post-match bollocking?
6. What Ollie 's wife thinks.

I swear if Wright was 2 inches shorter he'd be an attacking midfielder.

I can’t see anything on the Adver website?

Adver. And Kirkman.
Hang on…

This was an Adver story prior to the Barnet game. It suggested that Delaney and Kirkman could come back into contention as Clarke, Ball, Kilkenny and Wilson-Brown were all in doubt.

Previously, when interviewed, Holloway had said he had told Delaney he wouldn’t be extending his contract. Furthermore, there were so many ahead of him, that he might want to find another club. However, he praised the player and said that he knew in an injury crisis, he could bring Delaney in. While he couldn’t recall Minturn.
