As was mentioned in the other thread, we literally haven't won a league cup game for a decade (Luton 2014).

Respectable loss, with a bit of rotation, I'd imagine. Nice day out for the fans going.

Would be nice to see Tabor,Ameen and Bodin in the line up, maybe Delaney?

Absolutely. Looking forward to this one.

Plenty of options with players looking to impress, and potentially a good shop window for Delaney - here or otherwise.

Hoping we can finally break the hoodoo!

Ward or Ripley?

Cardiff at home again on Saturday and on the back of a 0-0 on Friday so should be fresh.

Comfortable loss but not thrashed. That said maybe Cardiff don't give two hoots and will throw a team of youngsters out - in which case Game On.

Such a shame these games aren't a Saturday. I'd have loved to have gone. Just how it is nowadays.

I’m just going to hope for the best, yeah it’s hard to predict because we don’t know who will play for us. I’m aware Barry-Murphy the Cardiff manager has said he wants to go far but I’m sure he will also be keen to rotate players and I know their fans want rotation.

I think their team is already top heavy with academy graduates - average age of the team v Vale was 22.

Tbh, they didn’t look up to much - loved the tippy tappy, possession stuff.

1788 tickets sold, plus there is also pay at the gate.

I was really excited for this one, bought my tickets and then went to book the train and realised the last train home is 930pm. Seems mental for what should have been one of the easiest train journeys of the season.

Looking forward to this one, can see pens! First SAS travel in about 20 years too due to the trians not running. Do the coaches normally have air con as it’s gonna be sweltering tomorrow?

Always is the way with cardiff. Go there for gigs all the time, you can't get back.

And when you drive they shut off bits of the M4 for a laugh.
