Would expect to see a more energetic performance tomorrow.

Can't say that I've ever harboured anything other than indifference towards Cambridge Utd and its fans.

Having said that, the football shit list is always open for new & deserving entries.

Looking at their website it’s the rivalry we never knew existed😁

Reminds me of being at school and this Exeter fan calling us a rival. Everyone just turned around and laughed.

Sticks and stones and all that. Funny thing is I don’t remember the dislike for us when they had Calderwood as manager.

One of the most depressing 6 days as a Swindon fan, something to smile about would be nice but feel Cambridge will be up there this season.

Any chance McGregor is back?
Holloway presser quotes:

“Joel McGregor got a whole game into him, all apart from the last 10 minutes. So that was really good. 2-2 draw with Forest Green, which was a great exercise.”

“Harry is doubtful. Joel and Billy are sort of available, they will be in the squad.”

All of a sudden im not feeling too confident about this season Cheesy funny how quickly things can change. Walsall was a bit of a slap in the face with our lack of experienced defenders. Still for the life of me, I  cant understand not playing Ryan Delaney. If we're paying him, play him. Three players in the back line making their EFL debuts was absolutely disrespectful to the league.

Im going for Swindon 2-1 Cambridge but that's me wanting to be optimistic and hoping that Walsall was just a blip Cheesy I want to see Bodin feature, hopefully along with McGregor, and Ball starting instead on TWB

The nature of the Walsall defeat will do that.

Hate to say the obvious, but got to give it time to see which way the wind blows.

Wanted Westley. Only found out he was available late. Thought they could get him

Now looking for a Tshimanga replacement. In for someone that several are in for. Will know more Monday. Later comments suggested that this will be a loan.

Kirkman has a hamstring injury and is out.

Finlay Munroe has tonsilitis

Minturn only interest from teams he wouldnt want to go to. Needs games so he can stop making mistakes

Struggling for subs for Saturday

I don't see how he can be struggling for subs when he had Delaney and Butterworth sat at home last week.

Also, Bodin is fit enough to play some part.

If we’ve got a squad of 23, including Delaney, Minturn & Butterworth, and they’re not going to be involved it only takes a couple of players out for us to be struggling to fill the bench.

Surely it makes more sense to involve those players, rather than not have a full bench.
Unless of course it impacts them getting a move away, or it costs us bonus payments

25 players at the club before touching the youths (Foye at least) and that's not including the five players out on loan who could all be recalled if we really were unable to fill the bench - I'd suggest that Holloway is being dramatic.

Even if Smith, Munroe, McGregor and Kirkman are unavailable that's still 27 footballers who could reasonably be in the 18 man squad.

Holloway's "small squad" just involves pretending fringe players don't exist as far as I can see.
