His second one was very good too, with a story running through the whole album that is resolved by the end. But this one was revolutionary.

My youth
I remember asking a schoolmate what was a Deep Purple concert like, the reply was with great excitement "It was like the biggest f***ing stereo you have ever seen". That comment still tickles me today.

Only album my Dad ever bought as a kid/teenager. At one point living at home we had about three or four copies of it in the house between me, my mum and my dad.
