Fleetwood have a modern (granted on the smaller side), clean, well functioning stadium with executive boxes, an impressive , modern training facility that they own and a category 2 academy (one of the best in the bottom 2 divisions) to show for it.
1. Highbury is owned by Wyre Borough Council, the club rent it 2. It was a complete wreck that had seen no development since the 1950s until a 2 stage development plan the started in 2008 and ended in 2011 3. It has a capacity of 5500 much of which is still terraced which limits the Leagues they can play in. It is amazing considering where they came from. But they were a Phoenix club with no debt when Pulley took over. AND HE TOOK OVER IN 2003 MORE THAN 20 YEARS AGO. Four years after he took over the club were in the Northern Premier League, the academy was non existent and the ground was entirely undeveloped. He lent the club millions to build all that and it's taken 22 years.

Even though they have fraudsters in charge they are way more open and honest about their finances than we have been under Clem. Fact. As are (roughly) 95% of ALL football league clubs owners.

Its Pilley isn't it?
In thread related news, Bristol Rovers have signed Josh McEachran from Oxford, the older brother of George.

Fair points but: 1. I didn’t say they owned the stadium 2. Whilst their stadium is on the smaller side, it’s in much better knick than ours right now and as you say, the situation is much different considering where they came from and where they are now. 3. The academy and training facility is light years above ours right now and the fact they own it as well is another asset. This is the real impressive part about the club, coming from where they are to where they are today and having that impressive of a youth setup takes smart investment. Is it optimal? That’s debatable but the debate was peoples opinions on that vs our situation here and I would say that they have some sort of return on that investment, they’ve climbed the leagues and have setup some long term benefitting assets. As opposed to our downward trajectory with very little to show for it.

Tishmanga joins Crawley on 2 year deal - that's potentially a good move for him - although as per most seasons Crawley seem to be losing a lot of players
