If Tshimanga scored 16 + 9 pens we'd all want him back.

I fully get that but... Tshimanga scored 12 of his 13 goals in the 37 games under Holloway. Tshimanga played a total of 2,651 mins football for 13 goals all season = 203 mins per goal Tshimanga played a total of 2,101 mins football for 12 goals under Ollie = 175 mins per goal Cheek played a total of 4,077 mins football for 26 goals = 157 mins per goal Not massively different, I just do't think that Tshimanga (under Holloway) was as bad as many make out. FWIW I dont think he will come back here anyway and not aware that he is an actual target for us.

I don't think he was bad. I just don't think he's worth paying a premium wage for.
Oh, and he still falls down too often 😁

Walsall set to sign Stevenages 23 year old big target man Aaron Pressley and look favourites to sign 19 year old striker Jonny Stuttle on loan from Bournemouth, he was on loan in the National league South last season where he got 10 goals in 19 games.
Bromley sign 28 year old defender Kyle Cameron from Notts County.
Bristol Rovers about to sign Mansfield defender Alfie Kilgour on a free.
Gillingham look likely to miss out on a deal for Wrexham defender Will Boyle, with Shrewsbury Town favourites to sign him.
Tranmere Rovers have signed 21 year old midfielder Charlie Whitaker from Everton.
Not league 2 but Hudderfield have released 6 foot eleventynine inch striker Kyle Hudlin, he was on loan at Newport last season where he scored just 6 goals in 30 games.

Bristol rovers linked with Bolton keeper Luke Southwood. Would be a pretty impressive signing if true

Remember that Smith and him came to blows in the Newport game last season, battle of the giants.

He never had much pace to start with! but as McGoldrick showed us last season, quality is permanant.

Hudlin will do well to get another league club TBH. He has the touch of baby elephant and about as graceful.

I saw him a few times for Wycombe when I watched on Sky and I didn't really think that much of him. He's a good experienced head and will probably do well under Ainsworth in L2 though.

If you play to the strengths of an experienced forward as County have done with McGoldrick then the chances are they will still score a lot of goals. If you reluctantly play an ageing striker in a role he doesnt suit as we did with Charlie Austin and make him run a lot and press and chase the ball then that is far less likely to succeed. Also Ainsworth obviously knows Vokes game having managed him at Wycombe so knows what to expect from him.
