I concur but not something we could do last season with the players we had.
No wingers - plus no one really plays 442 anymore but think a Smith / Glatzel partnership would prove fruitful

Spot on with your comments and with Ollie saying towards the end of last season that he likes wide players and seemingly in the market for one I reckon we could see a Smith / Glatzel partnership even if it’s only a plan B when he needs to change things.

we also have Drinan coming back who (if fit) is a huge boost imo

Agreed, imagine Ollie will still want another one to change things off the bench when things aren’t going to plan.

definitely. But isn't this an exiting time to be a Swindon fan.

For once over the last 10 years I'm actually confident in what we could achieve next season.

Definitely optimistic for the coming season and what a difference a decent manager makes and one who understands tactics and what type of players are needed.

I reckon he would be good alongside Smith in a 442
I am pretty certain we will carry on playing 343/352 this season. Even thought Ollie played 442 a couple of times it seems to be to counter opposition tactics early in his reign.

We need to dictate the formation rather than let the opposition dictate what we play, let them worry about us not the other way round.

Concur but still think if you have Harry Smith as your main striker you’d be a bit daft not to employ some dangerous wingers to whip crosses into him…

Agree 100% he needs a good supply chain.

especially if we play 343. Two pacey wingers who can cross a ball would be exciting to watch and Smith would really bennefit

Not sure he will get much higher than a decent L2 club, hes too old for any longer term contract, he has no pace as it is and only scored 16 goals last season from open play as 9 of his goals were penalties and according to the Tshimanga rule they don't count as goals by some posters.
